The project’s KEY QUESTION is: How can AI and data-driven methods be developed and applied to bridge the gap between measurable performance and human experience, enabling a design approach that integrates technical efficiency with social, cultural, and emotional value?

The project’s ACTIONS include: Map disciplinary perspectives and vocabulary for a shared conceptual framework; Characterize existing and required datasets and methods for soft values in design; Identify short-term opportunities for applying AI in value-driven design.

How can soft values be represented and analyzed within computational design? How can AI models support designers in decision-making rather than replacing their creative and interpretive roles? What frameworks and methods can align parametric optimization (hard values) with human-centered and ethical AI (soft values)? How can this integration contribute to circular and value-driven innovation in architecture and building design?

What forms of collaboration and data governance are needed to combine architectural, social, and ethical expertise in the use of AI? How to develop business models for architectural firms? Beyond business models, including organization / way of working? What does it mean for future architectural education? (From a practice perspective) What instruments we need to realize / implement this community?
